About MacGregor Home Inspection

MacGregor Home Inspection, LLC is an independent firm owned and operated by its principal Kenneth A. MacGregor. As a degreed civil engineer he brings professionalism and competence to the field of home inspection.

He is licensed through the State of Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection as a Home Inspector (HOI-366) since 2002 after having graduated from the Home Inspection Institute of America. Drawing upon approximately 25 years of engineering consulting experience MacGregor Home Inspection, LLC provides professional inspection services to the residential home purchaser. In excess of 3,000 inspections have been undertaken to date. Specific experiences includes undertaking inspection of older historical houses (late 1700 and 1800’s). Continued education credits in the field of Home Inspection for are kept up to date for license renewal including participation in the American Historic Homes Seminar sponsored by the Hudson Valley American Society of Home Inspectors.

Additional qualifications include being previously certified through the National Environmental Health Association under their National Radon Proficiency Program to undertake radon monitoring and analysis.
